Oswego Printing Co. Acquires Double J Print Shop

Owner Brian Kocher kicks into expansion mode
By Lou Sorendo

Oswego Printing Company is acquiring Double J Print Shop in Oswego on Monday.

Oswego Printing Co., 412 W. First St., Oswego, has been doing general offset printing for commercial and individual clients since 1922.

Brian Kocher, a SUNY Oswego graduate, has owned the business since 1995.

The company specializes in banners and large print products; fliers and posters; design services, rack cards and brochures, and special occasion invitations.

Kocher said he is combining the businesses under the Oswego Printing Company banner and will operate out of Oswego Printing's current location.

“This is a part of Oswego Printing's continued transition into a digital printing environment,” Kocher said. “This is an environment of fewer chemicals with a cleaner and more healthful work place with e-fast production times.”

Double J, 137 W. Second St., Oswego, was owned and operated by Jim Coniski.
